Samsung Phones High Risk Govt Issues High Risk Alert for Samsung Users
Users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones must advise by CERT-In to upgrade their phone’s operating systems and some security features as soon as possible due to a high-risk alert in phone.
The Union government has requested that all Samsung Phones High Risk Govt Issues High Risk Alert for Samsung Users upgrade their operating systems and security software right away to fight against any kind of hacking and cyberattacks.
The high-risk security advice was released by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) on December 13. It clearly highlights that many security implications that affect millions of Samsung Galaxy phones, which also includes both older and newer models.
According to the advisory, “Multiple faults have been reported in Samsung products that could allow an attacker to allow implemented security restrictions, access your sensitive information, and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.”

What may occur if the CERT Advice is ignored?
If you do not update your operating system and security patches as instructed by CERT-In, they may be exposed to various hazards. These are some of the weaknesses that the government noted in its advice.
CERT-In said in their note that lots of security flaws in Samsung products have been reported, which could easily enable an attacker or hacker to access your security, private data, and run arbitrary code on your device.
- The secret code (SIM PIN) of a stolen phone
- Examine confidential AR Emoji data.
- The castle gate’s clock (a Knox Guard lock) should be changed.
- Look through the files on your phone (access arbitrary files)
- Take sensitive information that is vital.
- Handle the phone as though it were a puppet by running random code.
